This recipe is personal to me- my Nana’s Strawberry Pie. With only 5 ingredients, this pie is very simple and easy to make. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do! Scroll down for the full recipe.

What you’ll need:
- 1 Frozen Pie Crust
- 1 C. Sugar
- 4 -5 Tbsp. of Cornstarch (Do 4 Tbsp. if you like this filling on the runny side, OR 5 Tbsp. if you wish it to be more firm.) You can also use flour if you do not have Cornstarch.
- 3 Tbs. Strawberry Gelatin (Jell-O Instant Powder)
Strawberry Pie Steps:
- Thaw your pie crust to the according time on the package (an hour is usually suffice).
- Preheat your oven according to your pie crust and bake to the time stated on the pie crust package.
- IMPORTANT: Let your pie crust cool before you put the topping in.
- For the filling: Mix your dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Bring 1 cup of water to a LOW boil.
- Mix in your dry ingredients, stirring constantly.
- Once your mixture has came to a boil, remove from heat and continue stirring for a few minutes.
- Add your quartered strawberries into the baked and cooled pie crust.
- Pour your filling mixture over the berries.
- Let cool in room temperature for at least an hour, then cover it and put it into the fridge to set for a few 2-3 hours.
My mom and I both say that this is the BEST strawberry pie that we’ve ever had. Enjoy!
